BRAUN
PRIZE COMPETITION

|
In asking you to "dream real products", our aim is for you to develop new product concepts representing real innovations in design and technology which help people in their everyday lives - in the home, at work or school, during sports and leisure activities or in the context of health and healthcare. As in previous competitions, special emphasis is placed on teamwork. Because truly original product concepts are only possible through interdisciplinary cooperation, the BraunPrize sets out to stimulate creativity in a dynamic team environment. You and your team are entirely free to choose your own product ideas (there is absolutely no obligation to submit entries which are relevant to the Braun product range), however, software products and interface designs are excluded from the scope of the competition. The competition is open to all industrial design students around the world who are still studying, and to graduates who completed their studies no more than two years ago. Where possible, students should be put forward for the competition by their course leaders at their design school. Projects featuring true interdisciplinary cooperation between different faculties are of particular interest. Entries
are submitted in two stages: For more
