Architecture Awards 1999
- Boston Society of Architects Type: Awards Registration deadline: August 24, 1999 Submission deadline: August 24, 1999 Open to: All Entry fee: $75US, $65 Awards: BSA members Certificates and/or cash prizes Jury: Robert Brown AIA, Margaret Smart Booz, Stephen Luoni, David Nagahiro, Ron Ostberg AIA, Suzanne Stephens Unbuilt architectural designs of any project type are eligible including purely theoretical projects and unbuilt client-sponsored projects (buildings, interiors, transportation infrastructure, monuments, etc. - any project type, anywhere in the world. Each submission is to be a single 30" x 30" x 3/16" (or 1/4") foam-core board. Boards are to be two-dimensional (using drawings, plans, photos, narrative material, etc.) and must not be framed or otherwise encumbered with metal, wood, glass, plastic or similar materials. Images of models on the boards are allowed but actual models are not eligible. Include at least one simple sentence on the board that explains the project. Place grommets in both upper corners of the board. Each board must focus on only one project. Each entrant may submit as many projects as they wish with the appropriate entry fee for each. Names or logos or other information that may identify the designers must not appear on the boards. No text on the board may be smaller than 10-point type.
